The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (July 14) that the newly built Cheung Sha Wan Promenade in Sham Shui Po District, consisting of a waterfront promenade and public open space, is now fully opened for public use.
Located at Cheung Sha Wan near the harbourside, the Promenade is the first waterfront open space in Sham Shui Po District, providing a pleasant and relaxing leisure space with a spectacular promenade for public enjoyment. The waterfront promenade was opened on June 30 for public use.
Occupying about 1.04 hectares, the Promenade includes landscaped areas and lawns. It also serves as an Inclusive Park for Pets for the public. Park users with or without pets could enjoy park facilities together in an inclusive environment.
Members of the public who plan to visit the Promenade can walk from Exit B of the Nam Cheong MTR Station in about 10 minutes, or take various bus and minibus routes there. For enquiries, please contact the Sham Shui Po District Leisure Services Office of the LCSD at 2386 0945 during office hours.
