The Food and Health Bureau announced today (March 17) the provision of BioNTech vaccination service at the Sham Shui Po District Health Centre (DHC), with a view to enabling the public to get vaccinated as early as possible and boosting the vaccination rate further.

Starting from 9am tomorrow (March 18), members of the public can make an appointment via the designated website of the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme (www.covidvaccine.gov.hk) for vaccination at the Sham Shui Po DHC on or after March 23.

The service will tentatively last for four weeks. Eligible persons aged 12 or above can make an appointment for receiving their first, second or third dose of the BioNTech vaccine through the online booking system. There is no same-day ticket arrangement at the Sham Shui Po DHC. The DHC is located at 201A, 2/F Mei Hei House, Shek Kip Mei Estate, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon, and operates daily from 9am to 6pm.

DHCs and DHC Expresses across the city have been actively participating in anti-epidemic work at district level, including conducting anti-epidemic promotional and educational activities, assisting citizens to book appointments for COVID-19 vaccination, distributing anti-epidemic kits, as well as providing hotline support to patients. The Kwai Tsing DHC has also launched BioNTech vaccination service earlier on.
