Police are investigating a manslaughter in Tuen Mun yesterday (November 28) in which a 55-year-old man died.
At 6.58pm yesterday, Police received a report in which the 55-year-old man, a 57-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman were fighting at a taxi stand outside Siu Hong MTR Station.
Police officers sped to the scene and found the 55-year-old man lying unconscious on the floor. He was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital and was certified dead at 8.01pm. The 57-year-old man and the 58-year-old woman were slightly injured and were sent to Tuen Mun Hospital in conscious state for medical treatment.
After initial investigations, the 57-year-old man and the 58-year-old woman were arrested for manslaughter, and are being detained for enquiries.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.
Active investigation by the District Crime Squad of Tuen Mun District is underway.
