CS leads delegation to attend meeting on Mainland and Hong Kong anti-epidemic work

     The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr John Lee, arrived in Shenzhen after attending the 2021 Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional Co-operation Chief Executive Joint Conference in Chengdu yesterday (September 24). He will lead representatives of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) to attend a meeting on the anti-epidemic work of the Mainland and Hong Kong tomorrow (September 26).

     HKSAR representatives who will attend the meeting include the Secretary for Food and Health, Professor Sophia Chan; the Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Mr Alfred Sit; the Stanley Ho Professor of Respiratory Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Professor David Hui; representatives of the Department of Health and the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, and others.

     Mr Lee will return to Hong Kong after the meeting. While Mr Lee is not in Hong Kong, the Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing, has been acting as the Acting Chief Secretary for Administration.
