The National Security Department officially laid charges against two males, aged 47 and 59 respectively, for the offence of collusion with a foreign country or with external elements to endanger national security under Article 29 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (National Security Law). Both men will be brought to West Kowloon Magistrates’ Courts for mention tomorrow (June 19) morning.
The other three arrested people were being detained for further investigation.
The National Department also issued prosecution document to three related companies, prosecuting them for committing the above-mentioned offence and requesting them to appoint representatives to attend the West Kowloon Magistrates’ Courts on June 19 morning.
