The application period for the Sports Premises Subsidy Scheme, launched under the third round of the Government's Anti-epidemic Fund, will end at 6pm on November 30 (Monday). Eligible sports premises wishing to apply for the subsidy should submit their applications as soon as possible. Application forms and guidelines can be downloaded from the Home Affairs Bureau (HAB)'s website (www.hab.gov.hk/en/policy_responsibilities/fitness/aefspss.htm).
The HAB has commissioned the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC) to assist in the implementation of the Scheme. The Scheme has been open for applications from October 30. Vetting of applications has already commenced during the application period. The subsidy will be disbursed to the approved sports premises by post in the form of a crossed cheque.
