Regarding the violent incidents in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), a number of rioters, some of whom are underage, still remain on campus.
Police today (November 20) reiterate that all persons under 18 years old leaving the campus are required to be photographed and have their personal particulars registered. They will not be arrested at scene but Police reserve every right to take any legal actions in the future.
Police emphasise again that a peaceful resolution is always our aim to solve the conflicts and appeal to the rioters to leave PolyU in a peaceful and orderly manner.
