The Financial Secretary, Mr Paul Chan, will lead a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government delegation to visit Macao tomorrow (September 26). He will co-chair the 11th Hong Kong Macao Co-operation High Level Meeting with the Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Mr Lionel Leong.
Both sides will review the achievements made since the last Meeting, and discuss and map out the co-operation directions for the coming year.
Government officials attending the meeting will include the Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Dr Bernard Chan, and representatives from other bureaux and departments.
While in Macao, Mr Chan will also call on the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Mr Chui Sai-on; the Chief Executive-elect of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Mr Ho Iat-seng; and the Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, Mr Fu Ziying.
Mr Chan and the delegation will return to Hong Kong in the evening of the same day.
