A government spokesperson said today (June 27) that the Government respects the public’s right to peaceful assembly.  However, it is unacceptable for some protesters to block the roads and surround the Police Headquarters, seriously affecting the work of the Police and causing inconvenience to other members of the public.  The spokesperson appeals to the protesters to disperse as soon as possible, and be considerate in expressing their views.
