Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Chai Wan in the small hours today (June 9) in which a 27-year-old man died.
At about 1.34am, a motorcycle driven by the 27-year-old man was travelling along Island Eastern Corridor towards Chai Wan. When approaching Shun Tai Road, it reportedly lost control and rammed into barriers.
Sustaining multiple injuries, the motorcyclist was sent to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 6.20am.
Investigation will be conducted by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island.
