Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Carl Risch will travel February 10-13 to Panama and Costa Rica to review consular operations and meet with foreign government counterparts.
The Assistant Secretary will underscore our deep and sustained commitment on a variety of consular issues, including the welfare and safety of U.S. citizens overseas, efficient and equitable visa processing, collaboration on intercountry adoptions, and the prevention and resolution of international parent child abduction cases.
