Statutory guidance: SR2015 No 12: 75kte non-hazardous mechanical biological (aerobic) treatment facility

These standard rules allow you to operate a non-hazardous mechanical biological (aerobic) treatment facility at a specified location, provided that the permitted activities are not carried out within:

• 500 metres of a European Site, Ramsar Site or Site of Special Scientific Interest
• 50 metres of any well, spring or borehole used for the supply of water for human consumption, including private water supplies
