Police are investigating an attempted murder case in Tin Shui Wai on May 16 and arrested a 30-year-old man.
Police received a report yesterday (May 25), saying that on May 16, in a unit in Tin Yat Estate, the 30-year-old man put suspected poison into the soup for his 60-year-old mother's consumption.
After initial investigation, Police arrested the 30-year-old man today (May 26) for attempted murder today. The arrestee is being detained for further enquiries.
Investigation by the District Crime Squad of Yuen Long District is underway.
