The Environment Agency consults the public on certain applications for Radioactive Substances Activity. The arrangements are explained in its Public Participation Statement

The Environment Agency will decide:
- whether to grant or refuse the application
- what conditions to include in the permit (if granted)
This was advertised originally 25 September 2017, Island Gas Limited have recently changed their company name to IGas Energy Production Limited, the application has now been re submitted in their new name.
